Read from August 01 to September 15, 2013, read count: 1
Where We Belong by Emily Giffin
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
this was so boring. the only reason i continued reading is that i didn't want to give up on another book, there's been too many lately. only the ending was okay. my favorite character was marian's father, he was the only one that felt real to me.

another cute one!
i like this series a lot, but the Craft-laws are really confusing.
also, i didn't understand the Zoey thing. her mother and sister are Crafters, but she isn't because she was adopted? but she grew up in the village. did she know she was related to them or not?

Next Stop, Paradise
Read from April 28 to May 18, 2013, read count: 1
Next Stop, Paradise by Sue Civil-Brown
My rating: 1 of 5 stars
Well that was a wasted effort.
The book starts out okay enough, 2 people thrown together in a mystery.
But then it all ends unsatisfactory.
1. Why does Sam decide she has to get away from Derek because he is gorgeous? Is this her reaction to every good looking man? And how realistic is it that you fall into bed with a man and EVERYTHING is perfect about him? This is also in other books.
2. The footprints are never explained.
3. The FBI agents. I felt they were weird at the least from the first sentence they said ("I missed my medication, but am stable now."), but it was never fully explained.
4. The mayor was really made to be a fool
5. Mary Todd sounds really bored with her shenanigans. I was sure she was behind the prints and the egg.
6. And finally, the egg hatches, and we still don't know what was in it.

Kiss Me While I Sleep by Linda Howard
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
i liked the book, lots of action, but there were a few points not addressed that i would have liked to know:
1. how did nervi find out who blew the laboratory the first time?
2. how did lily know who killed her friends?
3. what happened to monsieur blanc?
4. how did they know who was behind it all, lily guessed but was it ever confirmed? at least the reader knows.

A Solitary Blue by Cynthia Voigt
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I think I've waited about 10 years to read this bok, ever since I finished the Tillerman Trilogy. It was nice to read it from Jeff's side, even nicer to see a bit of continuation for the Tillerman family after Dicey's Song ended.
I hated Jeff's mother though. It was kind of obvious what she really wanted the whole time.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Read from September 09 to 12, 2012, read count: a million
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I love this book. It is literally falling apart because I read it so many times. This is the best book in the Harry Potter series, after the 4th it just gets depressing.
The only thing I don't get is that when they're all talking about Sirius Black being James Potter's best friends in the Three Broomsticks, how come no one mentions Lupin? He says later that they were best friends, but no one remembers that... Probably worked out better for the plot, but I do wonder about little things like these...
