The Night Villa
Read from June 12 to 16, 2012, read count: 2
The Night Villa by Carol Goodman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
It was good, I liked the whole villa in Italy thing. The whole story of Herculaneum is very interesting. The whole classic/Latin thing was above me as usual, but I did like reading about it.
Second reading: Still love it.

The Drowning Tree
Started Apr 30th. Finished May 6th. 384 pages.
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
A good book. A bit confusing at times, but I have that with Carol Goodman's other books also. Maybe it's just me.
I like how her books (the ones I read anyway, the Lake of Dead Languages and the Seduction of Water) are things you don't read about very often: fairy tales, Latin class or stained-glass windows.
