My rating: 2 of 5 stars
This book was okay. It wasn't as great as I thought it would be. I thought Julian was a very self-centered guy, thinking whatever he did was more important than Brooke's job. It really seemed as if he was having an affair too, although he claimed he wasn't.
Nola was funny, but she could have appeared a bit more. I didn't like all the name-dropping. Like the book made this big deal about Brooke going to Kirsten Stewart's birthday party. Now I am an Anti-Twilight Fan, so maybe that's why it bugged me, but seriously, couldn't Weisberger find someone a bit more interesting?
The event that the title of the book mentions happens all the way at the end, so every picture that shows up I was like: "Is this what ruined their marriage? Is it this?"
The book has good potential, it could have been written better.
