listening to the audio took me 6 times longer than it would have if i'd just read the book. wasn't very impressed with the story. the maclaine story-line was okay, but the reasons behind it confused me a bit, also the ending was really bad. the rachel story-line seemed far-fetched, the ending also confusing... what was the piece with the will? i didn't get that. also the scene at the dinner is likely to give me nightmares. btw, at the end savich talks about a guy called david caldicott, that name is also used in 'double take', one of the side-people
i liked the bit about perky.
