the first time i read this book, i cried like mad... now i don't cry anymore, but it's still moving.

i like that it's pretty thin, and doesn't shlep on like other danielle steel books. the end seemed a bit rushed though, i can't believe she just forgives him in 3 seconds. but i was happy they got back together.

i did have a hard time with the whole 'no more face, no muscels nerves bones anything' - if so, how did she talk? and something must have held her eyes together... pretty scary anyway.
