Wild OrchidsWild Orchids by Jude Deveraux

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love this book but I have a few problems with it... It starts off really slow, Ford and Jackie go to Cole Creek, they slowly find out a bit, then it totally goes off to photography and family. That I didn't mind that much, but then suddenly at the end it all went very fast and confusing. And the last chapter being told looking backward is something that bothers me in quite a few Jude Deveraux books.
Also they assume an awful lot, don't they? Ford sees a sculpture of 7 people, and just 'knows' these people crushed the woman (although afterward it says there were 8), and other things. The part with the visions also seemed a bit haphazard.
I liked the bit where he writes at the end about the kids, wouldn't mind reading a bit more about that. The chapters being told from different perspectives (also the same moment from both prespectives) was a nice touch. I liked the different and also quirky characters.
