Another one of my all time favorites. This is the first paperback I started reading (not the first I finished, as my mother was in middle of reading when I started, and she didn't let me finish until she finished).
Alex Hunter is on vacation in Japan when he meets Joanna Rand, a beautiful woman who is strikingly familiar, until he realizes she is the daughter of a US senator he was hired to find 12 years ago. But when he confronts her she doesn't know what he is talking about...
Joanna is haunted by a recurring nightmare, but is it only a nightmare, or something more sinister?
