My rating: 3 of 5 stars
A pretty funny book, about a couple that kissed under the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, which according to legend will keep them together forever.
10 years later, after having been completely out of touch, they meet in Manhattan, and get back together. But it turns out they have nothing in common anymore. They break up, but keep bumping into eachother...
I liked it, but it had a subplot that ruined it a little bit for me. Some of the characters were very funny (the hippie roommate, the Jewish boss).
The line that made me laugh out loud was:
Suddenly I'm struck by what I'm doing: I'm sitting. In public. On the New York subway. With my nose pressed up against a photograph of a left bum cheek. Or is it a right?
